Celeste S. has been waiting for this day a long time - not only is she celebrating her sixteenth birthday today, but also got her braces off today as well. We wonder what she was looking forward to the most? Celeste, we think the wait was worth it because you are just a wonderful "sweet sixteen" youg lady! Congratulations!!

Florissant March game Winner!

Andrew R. is pretty good with words! He figured the "he" puzzle for our game of the month. Here are the instructions: Name an English word of more than 2 letters that both begins and ends with the letters "he" in that order..."hehe" is not an acceptable answer! He found the two possible correct answers:

Patrick D. was our Florissant office "Making the Grade" contest winner by presenting a semester report card GPA of at least 3.5 out a 4 point system. The fact that he received a nice Visa gift card to spend anywhere he wants made this a reward worthwhile working for! Well done, Patrick! Congratulations!

For someone who didn't want to have her braces removed....!

Samone B. really didn't want her braces taken off because she really, really liked them...But once removed, she just loved her smile and was very happy to show her Daddy who witnessed the event! Samone, you have a great smile - show it to the world and let it last a lifetime!

The sun will shine on Atlanta!

Barbara J. got her braces off just in time for her job transfer to Atlanta where her smile will simply captivate everyone she encounters! An exceptionally hard worker, Barb did everything she could to make this day possible. We will miss her very much, but we know the sun will shine a little brighter in Atlanta when she arrives there with her husband! Congratulations, Barb, on your result - you earned it! God speed!

The happiest St. Louis Cardinal fan!

The happiest St. Louis Cardinal fan in existence has to be our very own, Connor H., who just got his braces off after a very concerted effort to get a perfect result! Not only happy with the result, he is especially looking forward to the "goodies-bag" he received from the staff as a gift for his excellent cooperation. Well done, Connor, and keep smiling!

Getting one's braces off at Taeger Orthodontics is always an exciting day for the staff, for Dr. Taeger, but especially our patients who have worked hard to not only a great smile, but a very confident one as well. It took Porter M. very little time is determining the answer to the question: "What is the most frequently song sung in the English language?" Her correct answer - Happy Birthday - won her a nice gift card to Target! Congratulations, Porter, and for being a great sport!

Visit Delta Dental's Winter Zoo 2012!

We are excited to announce that for the tenth year, Delta Dental of Missouri is sponsoring Winter Zoo at the St. Louis Zoo February 5, 12, and 19 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m!

Families with cabin fever can get out and have fun with activities specifically geared for children age 2 through 10. Highlighting the festivities will be Delta Dental's "Land of Smiles, The Musical" show in the Anheuser Busch Theatre of the Living World each Sunday.

"Land of Smiles, the Musical" is Delta Dental's entertaining and educating live theatrical program for children and families starring Tooth Wizard, his pal Panda and their arch enemy, PlaqueMan. With the help of volunteers from the audience, Tooth Wizard and Panda defeat PlaqueMan's persistent efforts to plaque up a healthy smile. Each child receives a bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, mirror decal and a coloring sheet. The show will be performed at 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each Sunday, except Mardi Grass Sunday (11:30 a.m. only), and lasts about 30 minutes. Admission is free!

Outside the theatre, Delta Dental will have free face painting and giveaways and Radio Disney will be on hand with music, dancing and fun games for kids of all ages.

On the last Sunday afternoon - February 19 - the Zoo will celebrate Mardi Gras. Radio Disney will host active games for cool prizes from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Then at 3:00 p.m., Tooth Wizard and his friends will lead the Mardi Gras parade, complete with a live band and other fun characters, through the Zoo.
