New Taeger Orthodontics QR (Quick Response) Code!

Taeger Orthodontics is very pleased to announce that it has included a QR (Quick Response) Code in its ongoing goal of making our orthodontic practice as technologically advanced as possible. QR Codes can be read using a smart phone having the necessary QR Code reader application, which, for example, can be downloaded from iTunes at no charge. Having such an application in a smart phone, our patients will be able to scan our QR Code and immediately access our new Mobile website without first having to open a browser, type in the appropriate URL, and wait until the website appears. All of this is being done to allow our patients to access our office at any time to check on their appointments and their personal financial information, to refer a friend to the office, or to leave a message for someone in the office to call them! This is all a part of our ongoing commitment to excel at everything we do - for our patients!

Florissant March Game Winner!

Florissant patient, Sam G., won the March Riddle Contest by answering the riddle correctly:
"If there are three apples and you take away two, how many do you have?" Most participants responded by saying, "one apple". A closer examination of the question would have yielded the correct answer, namely, "two apples!" It did not say, "If there are three apples and you take away two, how many are left?"; rather, it said, "If there are three apples and you take away two, how many do YOU have?" Sam figured it out correctly and won a Target $25 gift certificate! Congratulations, Sam, for your excellent observation and correct answer!

New "All American" Winner at NCAA/NRA Small Bore Rifle Competition!

Former Florissant patient, Dan H., is no stranger to this blog. He has been previously featured for participating in the Junior Olympics in rifle shooting in Colorado Springs. This year, as a member of the University of Memphis rifle team, Dan participated in the NCAA Small Bore Competition in Georgia. Here he did so well that he was named All American in small bore! He was one of only two college freshman in the United States named to the second team. He received a very nice silver bullet lapel pin that says "All American" on it, a beautiful certificate, and a special "All American" patch. His coach at the University of Memphis said that there had never been  a small bore All American at their university, and Dan is the only freshman ever at the school to be named All American in rifle.

His talents are taking him again to the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on April 5th. Congratulations, Dan!! We applaud your accomplishments and we continue to wish you the very best!

For that extraordinary effort he was able to take the jar with all the candy home - but since he has to wait until his braces come off before he can "indulge", he will be looking at the jar for a little while.
