New "All American" Winner at NCAA/NRA Small Bore Rifle Competition!

Former Florissant patient, Dan H., is no stranger to this blog. He has been previously featured for participating in the Junior Olympics in rifle shooting in Colorado Springs. This year, as a member of the University of Memphis rifle team, Dan participated in the NCAA Small Bore Competition in Georgia. Here he did so well that he was named All American in small bore! He was one of only two college freshman in the United States named to the second team. He received a very nice silver bullet lapel pin that says "All American" on it, a beautiful certificate, and a special "All American" patch. His coach at the University of Memphis said that there had never been  a small bore All American at their university, and Dan is the only freshman ever at the school to be named All American in rifle.

His talents are taking him again to the Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on April 5th. Congratulations, Dan!! We applaud your accomplishments and we continue to wish you the very best!

Florissant January Game Winner!

Florrisant patient, Allison S., has much to smile about - she won the January "Are you smarter than your orthodontist?" game in which she came out on top with the most correct answers! As her reward for her intellectual acumen she won a $25 Target gift certificate -  a delight to her because she said "Target has everything!" Congratulations, Allison!

Not only did it pay off in the short run, a $50 check, but will pay off in the long run as well! Congratulations, Sally!

Florissant "Making the Grade!" Winner!

Florissant patient, Tiffany M., did it again! Not only did she win last month's contest, a real difficult riddle, she was able to win this semester's "Making the Grade!" contest as well! Evidently the two are linked - you have to have "brains" to do both! Congratulations, Tiffany! Enjoy your $50 gift certificate! By the way, the answer to the riddle she solved was: the number "7" on a cell phone!
